aether settings

Manage your account-level defaults: agent and model, auto-archiving, account connectors and commit attribution. Per-project task defaults control the settings that new tasks inherit.

aether settings <subcommand> [flags]

Get

aether settings get

Prints your defaults:

User defaults:

Set

Provide at least one flag — only the settings you pass are changed. A switch is written when you pass it, =false included.

aether settings set --agent-type codex --model gpt-6.1-sol
aether settings set --auto-archive-on-pr-merged --auto-archive-on-pr-closed=false

Flag	Description
`--agent-type`	Default coding agent
`--model`	Default model
`--auto-archive-on-pr-merged`	Archive a task when its pull request merges
`--auto-archive-on-pr-closed`	Archive a task when its pull request closes
`--account-connectors`	Let your Codex tasks on your ChatGPT subscription bring that account’s ChatGPT apps
`--commit-attribution`	The git identities on your tasks’ commits: `person_author` (you are the author, Aether a co-author), `aether_author` (Aether is the author, you a co-author) or `aether_only` (no person is named). The first two need your GitHub connection; an organization that forces one attribution overrides yours.
