An automation runs a saved prompt as a task of its project on a schedule. Its tasks take their agent, model and connection from its agent profile, else from the project’s task defaults. For the concept, see Automations. list and create act in the project --project names, else your default project. The other commands take the automation’s id, which list prints.

Subcommands

Schedules

A schedule is one of: The schedule runs in the IANA zone --timezone names, such as America/New_York or UTC.

list

Lists each automation with its id, status, schedule and its latest run’s outcome. With --json, prints the automations as the API returns them.

get

Shows the automation’s schedule, its next run in the schedule’s zone (none while it is paused), its agent profile and its prompt. With --json, prints the automation as the API returns it.

create

string
Automation name.
string
The prompt each run’s task starts with.
string
Run every interval. See Schedules.
string
Run daily at this time, or weekly with --on.
string
Run weekly on this day, at --at.
string
required
The IANA zone the schedule runs in.
string
The agent profile its tasks run with, by its id or its name in the organization --org names, else the one AETHER_ORG names, else your personal organization. Without it, they follow the project’s task defaults.

update

Only the fields a flag names change; the flags are those of create. A new schedule is named whole, as create names it, and keeps the automation’s zone unless --timezone names another. --agent-profile none returns its tasks to the project’s task defaults. The update sends those fields alone, and the API keeps the rest. A new schedule moves the next run to its first after now; a new name, prompt or profile leaves it.

pause and resume

Pausing stops the schedule; resuming starts it again from now. Only the automation’s creator or an organization admin can control it, and the API refuses anyone else.

delete

With --json, prints the deleted automation’s automation_id.
bool
Skip the confirmation prompt.

runs

Lists each run with the time it was scheduled for, its status, and the task it created or why it failed. When more runs remain, the CLI prints the command for the next page. With --json, prints the page as the API returns it, including next_cursor.
int
The most runs to list.
string
Continue a previous list from its next cursor.
