# Install a plugin in the organization

> Resolves the plugin's source to one commit and pins it: a marketplace entry, or a branch or tag of a public git repository. Reads its Claude Code, Codex and Agent Plugins manifests, stores its tree, and adds each MCP server it bundles to the catalog, probing each remote one as a server added by hand is probed. A local (stdio) server is recorded unavailable. Refused, naming the conflict, when another server of the organization holds one of the plugin's server keys.
