# Delete Environment Variable

> Delete an environment variable

Deletes an environment variable from the specified project.

## Authentication

Requires a valid Bearer token.

## Path Parameters

<ParamField path="id" type="string" required>
  Project ID (UUID).
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="key" type="string" required>
  Environment variable name.
</ParamField>

## Response

Returns `204 No Content` on success with an empty response body.

## Errors

| Status | Description                                                |
| ------ | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| `401`  | Unauthorized — missing or invalid token                    |
| `404`  | Not Found — project or environment variable does not exist |
